Family-owned retailer begins final liquidation October 31
NEW CASTLE, Del. (October 29, 2024) — After a half-century in business, family-owned and operated Furniture Barn will close permanently after its final liquidation event that begins October 31.
David Barnes and his family opened Furniture Barn in 1974, inspired by a vision of establishing a one-stop shop where customers could find unique and beautiful furniture to fill every room in their homes. Their commitment to providing excellent customer service carried them through 50 years of growth and success. The Barnes family members expressed their deep gratitude to their loyal staff and to the community for all of their support over five decades.
Furniture Barn is located at 791 S Dupont Hwy. The going-out-of-business sale opens to the public October 31 with once-in-a-lifetime prices on a wide variety of high-quality furniture and mattresses. All home accessories will be discounted up to 50%.
